December 2025, marked the 15th Anniversary of The Auld Alliance whisky bar in Singapore, since its inception at CHIJMES in 2010. This also marks my 15 year friendship with Emmanuel Dron, having worked on the interior of the first whisky bar in 2010, to the move to Rendezvous hotel in 2014, and in 2026, a new chapter unfolds at Capitol Singapore.

Maintaining the essence of original warmth and charm of the interior at CHIJMES, The Auld Alliance at Capitol continues to bring the nostalgic ambience of a truly comfortable and intimate setting, to kick back with a dram at the end of the day.
